Steve joined the Private Security industry in 2002 following 22 years’ service in the Royal Marines as senior non-commissioned officer. Steve gained considerable experience during his time in the security industry as a contracts manager and worked within operational management and general management for a range of medium to large security organisations specialising in;

• Retail security 
• Installation and maintenance of CCTV
• Intruder alarms and access control
• Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)
• Control-room operations
• key-holding and alarm response services.

More recently employed in Quality (ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001), training and compliance management roles. His qualifications and experience includes; a Master’s Degree in Terrorism Studies, a Degree in Security and Risk Management and a range of H&S lead auditing, management of business, law and other associated specialisations including; Management of Retail Security, Security Surveys and aviation and maritime security.

Steve is an active member of the Security Institute, he is married with three children and his hobbies and interests include the study of military history.
