Alex joined Anchor on a work placement in 2011 whilst still serving in The Parachute Regiment, upon finishing a career spanning almost 10 years which saw him serve in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan he remained with Anchor in full time employment. He now manages a national team of soft services managers who are responsible for the day to day delivery of Anchor’s operational commitments. He is responsible for the design, development and delivery of Anchor’s security and related services provisions which includes Manned Guarding, Key Holding & Alarm Response, Mobile Security, Car Park Management and Control Room Services.
Alex’s primary role is to ensure the effective and sustainable delivery of all services under his management whilst driving customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. He is also Anchor’s lead contact on all new business opportunities with a focus on relationship development from within Anchor’s existing client base. Alex is the link between Anchor’s Board of Directors and its operational delivery infrastructure, holding full accountability for service performance, contract retention and budget management.
Out of work (and sometimes in) Alex is a keen golfer with his spare time spilt between raising his two sons and fulfilling his commitments as an Ambassador and Committee member of The On Course Foundation, a charity which uses golf to support the recovery of, and find long term employment opportunities for injured service personnel.
