The SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) is managed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). This scheme is a quality assurance program for the private security industry in the UK. Companies that achieve ACS status demonstrate that they meet a set of independently assessed criteria and are committed to delivering high standards of service to their clients.

To become an SIA approved contractor, a company must go through a rigorous assessment process that evaluates various aspects of their operations, including their management systems, financial health, and service delivery standards. Once approved, companies can use the ACS Accreditation Mark, which includes the SIA logo and the words “Approved Contractor”
